Return to Virtual Playtable
Does anybody actually use this program?

I went on it, made a deck, clicked the Online button and there were a grand total of 2 people online (excluding myself)...

Perhaps you should consider the fact that "this program" VPT is still in development phase.
I think if a target date and time for playing practice would be set, more people would join the online experience. If the time zone is right of course :)

Yea, I use it. Play using the local ip options though with my son. Mainly to test decks for playing with real cards. It still has bugs but its still in development too.

Yea, there are a few of us. The major issue is the diversity in time zones. We have people from all reaches of the globe and to find a time that makes sense for everyone is difficult. Once word starts really getting out there will be plenty of people to play with. Until then, we have to make do with what we've got. That's why I'm trying to organize some sort of tournament, so we can all effectively test this thing AND have fun with the program.

Would love to join but alas have no time :(

Sall good. Maybe if we set it up and the time works for you you can jump in.

Is anyone else getting "Cannot connect to host" when they try to go online?
  • @Xiran: I get the "can't connect to host" issue as well....the odd part is: we are playing on three different PC and they each have the problem at different times.....one can connect the others can't or the other way around.

I use it because I dont trust MWS to run on win7 yet without alot of fnagling. And I'd have to port it over off my older XP machine.
  • I currently use MWS mostly, but it really needs a good replacement so I've been keeping my eye on this as its the most promising so far. Right now I think it still needs some added functionality and a few bug fixes before its the best out there.

BTW MWS runs perfectly fine on Win7 for me without doing anything, not sure what problems you were having.
